From there, she began practicing in small animal general practice in Toronto for three years before moving over to the East Coast, where she has been practicing in Victoria on Vancouver Island for two years. During her time, she developed a keen interest in urgent care, internal medicine, surgery and exotics- having two dwarf rabbits of her own who are constantly getting into mischief! She truly finds such joy in being able to work with pets as they are such an integral part to any home. Being able to help advocate for pets help when they don’t have a voice is so important to her, as every pet deserves to be treated with the upmost care. Client education has become another passion of hers, as helping pet owners understand the what’s and why’s can help not only reassure owners they are making the right decisions, but also further helps strengthen the bond with their pet, allowing them to be involved with their pet’s care. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Bartlett is also undertaking a Post Graduate Course in Small Animal Internal Medicine, which she is using to further expand on her knowledge and expertise, as she loves learning and strives to provide the standard of care possible. She is very excited to start her new chapter at Juanita Bay, where she hopes to meet your fur family and help keep them happy and healthy! When Dr. Bartlett is not working, she enjoys spending her downtime exploring new food spots
